Carving The Future is in a growth phase and we’re looking to expand several aspects of our team. If you enjoy working with kids and sharing with them the fun, adventure, community, and life changing experiences of Snowboarding and Skateboarding, you may be a fit! Please see openings below.

Executive Director: Full time. Annual salary with performance based pay increase available. Experience preferred but not mandatory.    The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors. 

Grant Writer: Part Time. contractor pay per project.

Volunteer Positions

Board Chair: The role of the nonprofit board chair involves: Motivating other members to actively participate in and attend meetings. Ensuring the actions taken are in line with the organization’s bylaws, goals, and mission. Serving as a primary point of contact for the organization’s key executives and staff members.

Vice Chair: Assistant to Board Chair

Treasurer: The treasurer takes the lead in helping the rest of the board form financial policies such as who can access funds, who has check-signing authority, how expenses get reimbursed, use of the organization’s credit card and handling of small cash expenses.

Secretary: The Secretary serves as the liaison between the board, management, and members. They’re required to know and follow the laws for nonprofit organizations. Part of this duty includes giving proper notice of meetings and distributing meeting materials in a timely manner.
