Last winter (21/22), Carving the Future was given the opportunity to work with youth from the Wind River Reservation. Our program consisted of 3 weekend trips to Jackson for 15 Native American high schoolers. Each trip was spent learning and practicing snowboard skills at the local hill, while also focusing on activities involving conservation and outdoor recreation. CTF was able to coordinate lodging, all meals, transportation and fun activities to strengthen leadership and give youth access to more positive outlets, all while creating life-long memories. We would like to thank Arc’teryx for their continued support of our winter programs, as well as our partnership with Lynette Grey Bull and her organization Not Our Native Daughters.
